Car was just vandalized at nearby park, they broke the rear passenger side window. Anyone else had a side window replaced? Safelite quoting $600 and Acura dealership $720.

I assume these windows came tinted? The glass all over the inside of my car makes me think it isn't an actual layer of tint.

 

I think the factory glass is actually tinted glass, no film. Sorry to hear about the break in. My '12 TL got vandalized.. took a long time to get all the glass out of it

 

Yes, the rear windows are tinted right from the factory. I only had to pay to tint the front windows.

I would just replace it myself at that price

 

Go with the original one with Acura logo on it, when possible..
