Selling my RDX ETA?

I'm planning on selling my 2020 Acura RDX ASpec Black/Red AWD low mileage 10300. Perfect condition barely drive the car because COVID. Been working from home. Do we know how much does it sell for now? I'm assuming higher than usually now. I was hoping somewhere above $42+ . I need some numbers before I go dealer for ETA price.

You can always get a free offer from Carmax online. I recently sold my 2016 RDX to them and was able to get $4800 more than the dealer I purchased my new vehicle from offered for a trade-in.It was $5800 more than the Hyundai dealer offered when I was looking at a GV70.

Carvana gave me the highest estimate when I put my 2021 (13k) in a month ago: $46,300!

I’m assuming you’re asking about an estimated price, not ETA which is a measure of time. If so, you can try Carvana, Shift, and Vroom to see what they will give you. If your dealership gives you anything less you can just sell to them from the convenience of your home.

Curious, will you replace this RDX with another car? If yes, the premium you may get when you sell your RDX may be lost to the premium you must pay to purchase your next car. In the end, this could be close to a wash and you may still eat the large, first year’s depreciation on your RDX, plus another set of doc fees and sales tax. On the subject of sales tax, does your state reduce sales tax on the next car based on the trade in value of your old car? For example, NJ does. At 6.625%, on a $42,000 trade-in value it would reduce sales tax by $2,782.50. Of course if you are just selling the car, this makes no difference. But then again with a full warranty on your 2020 RDX, you could potentially sell it privately and get more than what something like Carmax would offer.

RDX Aspec SHAWD are in high demand, due to the lack of inventory at the Acura Dealerships. I got a few offers for KBB, Carana, zoom and Cargurus for $46,500 for my 2021 with 6k miles on it.

So I'm planning to sell it maybe buy a Porsche Macan or a BMW X5 or X6 Or I could really save that money and buy a multi-family house as investment haven't decided yet. But trying to sell it first to get the highest value since now is the best time to sell car.

A vehicle will always depreciate, an investment property most likely will do the opposite; so depending on your priorities you should make the "wiser" decision

Same tax rules where I live. I normally sell my vehicles which yields a much better return than trading them in but when I traded in a two year old CR_V Touring on my Advance RDX the tax savings were considerable as we only pay taxes on the difference in price, not the whole sales price on the new car.
Lots of things to consider. My 2015 Fit EX-L was $20k OTD in mid 2015. Now its worth around $15,000 after six years! Its crazy.....
