Remote start??

So the fob would work for me from home. But not from the mall, or from the pool at the club. The app works for me better than a remote.

Yap! I totally agree. If I lived in Manhattan, I would happily use the app.

A lot of people just have multiple problems with the app, and if you have problems, well, that's a problem. For me, since I got a new Galaxy S10, the app has worked almost flawlessly. And the feedback on starting the car has gotten even quicker over the past few months. Typically less than 20 seconds. Even with the car in a multi-level parking garage while I was sitting in the food court in the Roosevelt Field Mall. Only once in the past 6 months did I get a network error and a simple retry worked immediately.

It should work that well for everyone and every phone and Acura should see to it.

I have both and use both depending on my location and weather. Even at work with a crappy signal in the building the app works great. Having multiple options is the best way to go.
