rear wiper control question

Today it rained and on the way back home I turned on the rear wiper. When I got home, I backed into the garage, and with my foot on the brake, but the car still in R, I turned the rear wiper control to the "off" position, but the wiper kept going (and I waited for multiple sweeps, not just one or two). I put the car in P and the wiper stopped.

Not a big deal, I guess, but has anyone else noticed this?

That's normal, refer to page 196 of the Owner's Manual.

Normal in all Honda vehicles. Rear wiper will engage if the front wiper is set to the on position if the car is put in reverse.
