My RDX has a factory roof rack on it. I would like to remove the cross bars and mounts from the rails as I don't need a roof rack and don't really like the look on the vehicle.
Is this possible?
Number one problem is the mounts have key slots in them and I cannot find the key, apparently didn't come with the vehicle.
How should I proceed? Can I get replacement keys? Call a Locksmith? jam a screwdriver in it.......

 

If you look at the lock on the rack, there is a number. That’s the key you need. You can order online. I bought a key last week for 5 bucks at rack attack.
