But yeah, I used to buy Honda/Acura vehicles so I would never have to set foot in the dealership after the sale. Now I'm on a first name basis with the Acura service advisors.

And I bought my first car, a brand new cherry red 1984 Honda Prelude, just about 36 years ago, plus or minus a few weeks. Thus beginning a run of over a dozen Honda/Acura vehicles over the years. We currently have three Acuras in our garage. So I feel your pain.

But my mom's Audi 5000 didn't exactly sell me on that brand, although the thing handled gravel roads like a Sherman tank. And current Toyotas are just so damn boring. Oh well. At the end of the day, a car is just a transportation appliance. This one always gets me where I want to go.
1984 Prelude! I wish I could have afforded that then but my lawn cutting jobs only could fund a 1984 Civic 1500S. I too have had numerous Honda's and Acura's - and until this RDX all were fantastic. It makes this experience hard to believe.

Totally agree that Audi's are beasts and Toyota's are bland. but even our bland '17 Tacoma Double Cab gets better MPG and has less road noise than the 2020 RDX.

I'd be happy if this transportation device "did what it says on the tin" but it doesn't and has required an unacceptable level of repairs for a 6 month old vehicle.

What exactly do we mean by "Auto Lock"? Is that the same as Walk Away lock?

I don't use walk-away. I tried it for a while but disabled it. Pretty sure it's disabled by default.

Could not agree more! Love how it look from inside & out but quality is so bad!

...In your opinion/experience. Not a universally held belief.

Agreed. I've been able to remedy a few interior rattles on my own, thankfully. A-pillar rattle, panoramic sunroof rattle and the rear cargo floor "click." Still have a clicking steering wheel from time to time and a weird buzzing sometimes from above my head. Turning the radio on though and it's inaudible. The other three were driving me up a wall tho. The car is vastly more pleasurable to drive now that I don't have to deal with those annoyances.
