Hi Everybody,

I am currently living in Florida. I own a 2020 RDX AWD with tech package. Could you please suggest a dealer from which I can get good deal for extended warranty? Is there any one in this forum who recently purchased it from any dealer in Florida? I cannot get it from hyann or Curry as I am in Florida

I don't have any extended warranty on my ACURA, but had it before on the Honda PILOT I traded in for the ACURA, and as far as I know extended warranties are valid nation wide on all ACURA dealerships, not sure what difference it makes where you live. The issue I see is you already purchased the car leaving you with not room to negotiate a good deal on a extended warranty, I suggest you visit Several different dealerships in your area and have them quote the warranty according to your expectations and then compare prices and go with the cheapest one, you can negotiate the price down. When I purchased my Pilot I managed to lower the price for a 60K miles or 5 years extended warranty from $1500 to under $500 during the financing process, and when I traded it in for the Acura, Honda reimbursed me a good amount of money because never got to use it till the expiration date so they prorated my reimbursement.

In my opinion, extended warranties are only a way for the dealership to make more money when they sell you the car, too many clauses in those small prints.

I think Florida has a rule against buying out of state warranties.
