Production Pikes Peak RDX

Since CUV are all the rage, should Acura put the Pikes Peak RDX into production. There is a market for performance compact CUV, ex: x340i-xM3, GLC43-GLC63, SQ5, XC60t8 if you want to put it that category.

No, because the pikes peak vehicles are specifically built to climb a mountain and not built for daily driving.

Instead, they should build a x340i/sq5/macan s/ competitor

I dunno. The roll cage replacing the rear seats is kinda cool... cuts down on the annoying chatter from back there.

That is right, but a 48v supercharger or a bigger turbocharger seems plausible for a production car.

Fair enough, but AFAIK a 48V supercharger needs a 48V mild hybrid system to give it juice, and the latter might not be a bad idea with or without the supercharger.

Who knows, with 48V to play with maybe they could even build an infotainment system that doesn't conk out if you ask it to do two things at once.
