I figured out a fix for the missing favorites. Send them from your phone's Acuralink app to the car. You'll get a message in the car to download them. Open navigation and click on downloaded places. "Add to favorites" now works when you click on them and adds them back to your favorite list.

I haven't used the native navigation much since the February D.1.1.2 update messed up the HUD directions, I mostly now use carplay for navigation. And I know this update didn't list any fix for the HUD occasionally showing the prior street and direction in the HUD, but I saw someone on Facebook say that it appeared to fix that issue. So I decided to try it out again. I had a short trip today that had a lot of quick turns, which always messed up the HUD directions, like it couldn't keep up. First issue, the Acuralink app send to car feature kept failing with the car off, so I'm wondering if the latest update broke that again. It did work with the car running, so off I went. It did seem better, and I noticed a few times that it was incorrect for a second or two after a turn, but quickly corrected itself. One time the correct direction was shown but the street was incorrect. Interestingly, the street displayed in the HUD was the street 2 turns ahead, not the prior street as was the general issue from the D.1.1.2 update. It was only 30 miles, so not a good test, but it did appear to be better, but still not perfect.

I might have been lucky. My experience with the infotainment has been ok ever since I disabled turn-by-turn guidance in meter setup. Occasionally, there are hiccups here and there, but nothing that breaks functionality.
For 1.1.4, I did a factory reset beforehands since I have the duplicated home shortcut issue. I don't know how much the reset helps, but the system has been less laggy. The instrument panel LCD view is sticky now, as mentioned earlier. I also feel difference in the piped-in noise. The sound is cleaner and less booming.

Maybe Canadian RDX's are not having the same Infotainment issues as those of us in the US and perhaps the electric folding mirrors keep the infotainment system happy......:-)

Oh we are having the same problems and frustration levels. At least the US got a class action.....that levels out the playing field with our power folding mirrors...lol

LOL indeed.....The one and only thing better with the new D1.1.4 release is the system seems to boot faster. Other than that a total dud. All the other issues remain.

Did the update on Wednesday. System seems faster, but we're having an issue of going from an AM radio station to a Sirius XM station. It takes over two minutes before the audio switches, even though the screen shows it's on the XM station.

I agree with Madd Dog. My clock was fine before (we don't do daylight savings in AZ) and I see no difference in all other behavior. If I leave the XM radio on the small screen it works fine, if I switch the XM radio to the large screen, on start up I often get a very slow loading with spinning circle. Before and after.

When companies like Microsoft release new software updates they need to limit the number of people who connect to their servers at any one time to prevent crashing the server. I expect Acura needs to do the same thing.
I don't know how Acura determines the priority list for the downloads. Since I have a 2020 model only 2 months old, I would expect Acura would look after their older customers first, and I may be the last person to get access to the download.. Perhaps they give access to next 100 VIN's each day, in order to have some sense of order.
Don't be pissed, they are not picking on you personally, and it does not indicate there is a problem with your RDX, Your day will come eventually. Besides the update only promises to fix the clock problem which I did by manually choosing my time zone as a temporary work around.

Same thing on my RDX and many others from what I am seeing in the forums.

maybe Acura needs to convert the English language version to Canadian first

How many of you are Apple Car Play users?
It appears to me that there would be more outrage among CarPlay users. I hate how this keeps cutting off or how it starts skipping When playing a song (nothing worse than riding around playing your favorite song w/windows down and it starts skipping ).
Its got me so frustrated that I have thought of selling the car. It does however drive great so I am in a pickle. I was just curious how many of you really use CarPlay??

OTOH, I am retired and don’t really need good traffic routing except the few times I am actually going anywhere.

I use CarPlay all the time and I have no issues if I let the infotainment system spool up before plugging in my iPhone 10s Max. When I plug in before that it skips. I have a 19 Tech/Aspec running D 1.1.4.

I actually have found that you can leave the phone plugged in but you need to wait a couple minutes before you start playing music. More frequent skipping happens early on infotainment startup. Now when streaming on Bluetooth this is not an issue.

I did the factory reset because I had duplicated home shortcuts, and also enabled developer options so I thought maybe that was blocking the OTA authentication.
I can say safely after almost a week that the system is definitely more responsive and boots up faster. The former could be cache cleanup from factory reset (if you use Android phone you know what I mean), the later has to come from system optimization.
