OEM Tire Tread Depth

OEM Tire Tread Depth
Does anyone know the tread depth of the OEM tires that came on the 2019 RDX Advance? They are Continental CrossContact Sports, but apparently they have either a 9/32" or 10/32" depth depending upon the vehicle brand. I'm trying to decide if mine will make it to the end of my 45K mi lease. Based upon my current tread depth of 7/32" after 25K mi I probably won't make it if they started at 10/32". In that case I'll replace them now rather than buy a new set when I turn the vehicle in at end of lease. The new Continental CrossContact LX25 looks pretty nice. My only problem has been road noise and the LX25 is supposed to be much quieter. Comments??

While you're at the dealer, you might ask what tread depth they deem acceptable for lease return. If it's the legal minimum of 2/32" you're probably fine. But if it's 4/32" it might be tight. Since I have never leased, I don't have a clue.
But if the vehicle sees rain, or especially snow, it's not a good idea to go lower than 4/32".

Just apply some ceramic coating to the tire tread to reduce the rolling friction of the tires. Re-apply every few hundred miles. I've done it on past vehicles and my tires last over 100k miles. It makes turns a bit squirrely, but it's worth it in the long run. The RDX has SUPER Handling AWD, so it has no problems in this regard.

I think 10/32 is correct.
As best I can tell, our 2020 with 2500 miles on it is just a hair under that at 9.75/ 32 or so.
Our only complaint is with road noise also, if you get new tires, I would love to hear if you think they helped at all.

I've never had Continentals before but I've heard from a couple people they're very good for the first half of their tread life but performance starts to deteriorate quickly after that. So far, after about 11k mi., they're very good in dry and wet conditions. What little snow and slush I've driven in, I'd say they're okay but not great. Second winter in a row where we've had almost no snow.
