Newbie Questions

I currently own a 2016 RX 350. My biggest complaint is how it shifts - it can't seem to make up it's mind. I have had it 3 months and can't stand it. TBH, I really regret trading in my '09 MDX.

Anywho, I am considering the '19 RDX A-spec. I have a couple of questions;

Does it come with remote start? If so, is it app based/fob or both and once you get in the vehicle, does it shut off?
How is the shifting? Does it hunt? Is there a turbo lag? The one I test drove didn't hunt but did have a turbo lag. Mind you that was back in July.
I have heard there are some bugs with the Infotainment. Have they been sorted out?

I am located in Canada.

Thank you very much for your time

It comes with Acuralink (app based) or you can buy the accessory add on with fob (US Models). It does not shut off when entering vehicle.

Shifting can be erratic at times, depending on how you drive. It can hunt if you are at low speed and give it a lot of pedal.. or a slow rolling taking off. Not everyone has shifting issues.

Test drive one with the idea of looking for those issues that you are wondering about. Put it through the paces

I have a Platinum Elite (August build date, purchased in early September) but according to the Acura website, a remote starter is included with all Canadian models. There are two ways to use the starter, through the key fob or through the AcuraLink app. The latter has a 90 day trial period for the remote starter feature (among other features), but the fob base remote starter does not have trial period. When the remote starter has been activated, the engine does not shut off when you enter the vehicle.

I haven't noticed any turbo lag, passing on the highway has always a breeze.

Same goes with the infotainment system, no issues either. I hate to say it, but I think the vehicles with the majority of these issues are vehicles with early build dates.
