New Order

So, I finally did it. I leased a 2021 Apex Blue ASpec RDX. I love it so far! It’s a huge upgrade from my Mazda I think personally.

Now it’s time to delve into that owners manual!

Lastly, my only concern is that I leased for 10k/yr which should be plenty, but it doesn’t sound like much, so now I’m kicking myself for not just doing 15k/yr.

Congrats and enjoy !!

Don't worry about the miles-if you go over and lease another Acura in three years they will forgive half of the miles up to 15,000 so essentially you pay 10 cents a mile rather than 20.

I leased my 2019 Aspec with 15K/year. Lease almost up and TOTAL miles for 3 years are only 14K.

Oh, wow, you don't drive very much

So, how does it work if you get close to your mileage and then want to get into a new lease early? Are you penalized for that? Sorry, I'm a total newbie with leasing. I'm sure I didn't get the best deal, but I did find out my credit rating score is an 820 ...

Thanks all!

Congrats. I really enjoy driving mine (2019 white A-Spec), find the 2.0 engine plenty powerful, the 'fit and finish' on mine appears perfect (some have had issues), looks great and have accessorized it to my liking. Miles are miles, depend how much you drive. I am north of 2 1/2 years and only have 7,000 miles on mine. This blog has plenty of good information and plenty of great contributors. The only minus I give the car is the infotainment system, but maybe some of the bugs have been worked out on the '21's. It hasn't been Acura's best effort.

Must have bought/leased ours around the same time. I am probably going to lease another in September as my lease is up the and hopefully the 22's are out by then with some fixes and improvements. I drove a 22 MDX Asepc and meh in handling, The RDX is just fine.

You're not penalized. You just lose that portion of your down payment. If you put $3600 down for a 36 month lease and you get out of it 6 months early, you've lost $600 of your down payment from Day 1.

Acura also allows you to roll over up to 15k of unused lease miles to the next lease.

Did anyone cross-shop the Lexus F-Sport? That's what it came down to for me - Lexus RX 350 F-Sport or RDX Aspec.

I also cross shopped the Audi Q5. I liked that a lot too, but I like the looks of the RDX Aspec better!
