Same here. I opened a ticket with Acura, but have heard nothing.

 

thats strange. I have ios, and version 4.1.2, and it is functioning like it has been (all info available). Try removing, and reinstall the app.
And maybe get off wifi and use the cellular network.

 

I’ve tried everything, logged out, uninstalled app. Doesn’t show off wifi. Like the post above mine, I only have the remote subscription. I even recently got a new phone recently and still the app is not working correctly. Acura support is worthless.

 

I also had to purchase the security one. I just did that last nigh . Then after that my car showed up and tire pressure and shows if it is locked and unlocked

 

I just got off the phone with Acuralink support, apparently Acura made the send destination to car and view tire pressure in app part of the Security package and never told anyone. I only have the remote package.

What does remotely sending nav info to the car have to do with security?

oh, I know, they found that people who want remote access don’t want to pay for security, so they took stuff off the remote package and put it in another pack.


That is assuming the person on the phone knows WTF he is talking about, and is not just makingnit up as he goes along.

 

I have only the remote package and I still have the send-to-car feature. It comes up under "Maps", which is not even on the remote panel. Hide the remote panel and select Maps.

The only thing I've never been able to do is clear the send-to history.

 

It all works for me too. But I remember cancelling the security pack timely and only buying remote, but they charged me for security too. I then had to argue with them, and they refunded that extra money. But looking on the app, it seems I might have the security package anyway, and they just gave me my money back and did not cancel it.

”send destination” is included in basic.
the Security package does not say it includes what the rep says it includes.


My view is the rep is either ignorant of what each package does or does not include, or is trying to sell something.

 

Maybe my mistake. I probably still have the Security package because that's complimentary for one year. I renewed the Remote package after 6 months. They'll probably hit my card for the Security package in February if I don't do something about it first.

I couldn't care less about the send-to car feature. I've only used it as test cases, not because I needed it.
