I leased my 2021 RDX. Anyway, I want to tint the front 2 door windows. Will I get penalized for doing this? I suppose I can always remove it prior to my final inspection. Anyway, what issues have you (if any) faced during the final inspection for tint?

Tint away. Lots of dealers tint the fronts before they sell them. Won’t be an issue when u turn in. Have done it numerous times.

 

Ok, I just wasn't sure since I am going to go 20% and 35% is what is legal. Thanks for the feedback!

 

Even if you had to remove it, I would still do it even if it were only a 1 year lease.

 

Does the 3rd gen RDX have issues with window tint scratches from rolling the windows up/down?

 

Not that I have seen in 27 months 30,000+ miles. In fact, I have never seen this occur in any of the many cars I have owned with tint.
