Happens to me every bad storm. Once enough slush is kicked up from the highway car's in front to put a sheet of slush/ice on the emblem, the warning pops up. If it is below 32 degrees the driving wind will keep that spot frozen and it will never work until you ice-scraper the front emblem. If above 32 then it never happens as the warmer wind melts it quick enough before the error comes up.
I use ACC max distance in snow storms to give the best chance for kicked-up slush to fall back down before hitting my rader emblem.

As long as its below freezing, it won't thaw. If I get out and wipe it off it will start working again. Its the times like this I miss my Subaru with it's camera based Eyesight driver assist as it didn't have a radar to freeze over.

Same thing happened to me last week when driving a Honda CRV. Good to know I am not the only one suffering through winter fun.

^ +1, same here. My wife complains when her CR-V does the same in heavy snow or rain.
