A new owner of a RDX, next to the gas gauge is a series of dots with the top dot a larger white, what does this represent...............thanks

 

It represents the position of the current imid screen. Scroll the righthand wheel on the steering wheel, and you scroll through various screens, like tire pressure, etc. The dots represent where the screen is in the sequence.

I find the dots to be useless, but that is what they do.
