As an Android user, I'm no stranger to the hidden menus and features in the OS. I decided to play around with in the settings and arrived at this screen. Repeatedly clicking the gray squares will open a quote from a long-standing Honda employee (I took a peek on LinkedIn).
Anyone find any other hidden menus or features? I'm sure the most widely known is the service menu when holding the three buttons above the touchpad. Sadly there are no Developer Options when repeatedly clicking the Build Number (as you would see on your phone/tablet).
If this actually is an RDX screen (where did the android come from), then it is indicative of the lack of care that Honda/Acura put into the system.
While few systems are 508 compliant, this color scheme is a prime example of why 508 came about.
The Infotainment OS runs on Android- Not related Android Auto.
This is just a developer easter egg. Has nothing to do with the overall quality, regardless of if you have a high or low opinion on quality for this vehicle.
Complaining about 508 compliance on an Easter egg? Comon, man. This seems like you're reaching.
"Tyrone, you know how much I love watching you work. But I’ve got my country’s 500th anniversary to plan, my wedding to arrange, my wife to murder, and Guilder to frame for it. I’m swamped!" -Prince Humperdinck "Get some rest. If you haven’t got your health, you haven’t got anything." -Count Rugen

I second what Alias1431 had to say. It's just one of the hidden quirks and features (*Doug DeMuro voice*) the developers added into the system. No reason for it to be consistent with the rest of the UI.
