From a few months ago, never has happened since......,
I was in 'limp mode'
Took it to the dealer and left it there. Report below....
=================
Performed Health Check, PGM-FI Code P061B
Trouble-shooted, Cleared Codes, Idle & CKP Learn.
Road test According to Freeze Data
Battery Reset
Code did not return
Checked PCM, No Faults
Called TechLine
================

They know this is happening to owners and mentioned that my data was sent to the 'database'.
Car has 11,500km (7k miles)

Thanks. If you've not already done so, please post this in this thread.

10 lol. An overwhelming response for a problem thats apparently a huge issue.

yeah....only 15% of the cars spontaneously stop running properly on the highway when you accelerate....not bad Acura. As usual, polls like this have very little meaning since 99% of Acura owners have no idea this site exists. The bigger issue for me is not the number or percentage, but how Acura has responded to the issue.

The purpose of this poll is just to get a snapshot of RDX Acurazine Members- just a curiosity, not a scientific poll, so don't get your panties in a bunch.

Still, one out of six is measurable, even if it is a sample of only those who signed up for this site.

Panties are just fine thanks, and I get the purpose. Just pointing out that poll (like most) is useless and only "justifies" everyones opinion on both sides.
To me limp mode is a hazard that if you have experienced, then it sucks and you don't trust your car. Acura response is silence. If you don't have it then what's the big deal (already read that in a post).
15% in this snapshot is way too much, but hey....sales are really good, so I suspect Acura's motivation to solve the problem is less than urgent.

You cant put too much weight on these polls. People who have experienced issues are more likely to be vocal and encounter this thread on the web researching the problem.

Casual drivers who have no issues and are not enthusiasts do not participate in this poll.

For all those that have experienced it, did you file a complaint with the NHTSA?
https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/

That is the best way to get your concerns documented and get the attention of the manufacturer.

Right? I'm disappointed in the fine men of Acurazine, they've been snoozing!

All jokes aside though, I don't own an RDX so I never actually voted in the poll. I find the current number of users with limp mode actually pretty fricken scary. I wonder how truly common the issue is, it's apparently happening with Accords too.

What's weird is that the majority of users with limp mode seem to be in the A-Spec models, not the other trims.

One would think the fine women of Acurazine might have more to say about it.

Women on Acurazine? That's crazy talk. We once had a woman on here in 2007 I think. She regretted doing so promptly.

Selection bias? People who buy the A-Spec model probably drive it more aggressively? If you never go WOT you're never going to come across the condition that's triggering limp mode.

Interesting. I have never gone WOT, although I have had a friend do it a few times on my car. (I have not experienced the problem.)

Sometimes I drive my car aggressively. I drive the Advance trim model. I have never experienced this problem.

Do you know if those who have the Accord sport have the same problem?

I did a search of the Accords the other day....there are a few threads regarding limp mode with the turbo.
Here is one short link but appears to be MT turbos....ie....Sport
