Has the 2020 RDX fixed most of the 2019 problems?
As I cruise through this 3rd gen RDX forum it's clear there are a lot of issues with the new RDX, but most folks still like theirs. I am planning to buy a luxury SUV in the next few months and the Advance trim RDX is at the top of my list. It also seems that "most" of the problems owners are experiencing are with the 2019 model. There are a few complaints about the 2020, but it has been out a while now and for the most part problems seem limited. I'm trying to get a feel for whether or not there was an "undocumented" hardware change that Acura made to the 2020 that has reduced some of the problems.
I wonder if Acura saw a hardware flaw in the 2019, and rather than fix it for all current owners, they made the change to the 2020 model and rushed it into production a few months early in order to stop making the defective 2019s. I know it's somewhat of a conspiracy theory, but why else did they start producing and selling the 2020 models so soon after introducing a new model for 2019???
Just wondering...

Apparently, there may be an undocumented change in the ECU as well, as members have reported that aftermarket "tuners" say a different "tune" is needed for the 2020 vs the 2019.
It would be nearly impossible for mere mortals like us to know what undocumented changes Acura makes each year.
For whagt it's worth, my Advance 2019 was built in 11/18, and doesnt seem to have many of the issues the early 19s have.
BTW, the 19s were released in June 2018.

We took deliver of a ‘20 ASpec in July and it has been trouble free. It’s been to a few road trips and it’s daily driven in the horrible traffic in the DC area and it’s been flawless so far.
We haven’t experienced any of the infotainment issues noted on the forum. Good luck
