You all have been very helpful--but here's another. When I open the glove box, the light comes on but only for about 5 seconds or so. I cannot find a place in the manual to address this. The other interior lights are on during this. E.G. I go in to the car, leaving the passenger door open as I do stuff in the glove box, but before I get started the glove box light goes out. And--there seems to be no way to address it.

 

In most Acuras and Hondas the glove box light works only when the headlights are on.
