Has anyone installed a fitcamx dashcam in their rdx. I installed one but can’t get the WiFi to connect to the app on the phone from the camera. Was wondering if anyone else installed and was able to resolve this problem.

 

Not much help here, but I did install a Fitcam in my Audi SQ5 with no problems. I would suggest you call Fitcam, they were very helpful with my install.

 

Appreciate it. I spoke to them they already sent me 3 cams and couldn’t rectify the issue. I have one on my CRV that works with no problems. Was hoping someone on here might have been able to figure out the rdx fix. Fitcam couldn’t. By the way does fitcam have a domestic support in the US that you are aware of?

 

No, not aware of one. That's the only drawback I have found.

No not at this time.

 

Wish that I would have saw this before now. Hope you got this fixed. I went back and forth with FItcamx with the same problem. I had a cam for my Hyundai and it used a y cable connecting to the inside rear view mirror harness. Took me months to convince them that the harness they were using didn't supply 12vdc to the cam. Finally sent a y cable for the inside rear view mirror and I was able to connect to the wi-fi.

 

I have the fitcamx in my 21 Aspec. Works perfectly fine, already pulled some vids off via Wi-Fi. Make sure you’re not connected to your CarPlay or anything like that, as that uses the Wi-Fi protocol.
