First oil and filter change
We get first service free too. I never thought the mess involved with a self-done oil change was worth it.
Whatever you do, don't go to one of them quick-change places. Either take it to the dealer, or find an owner operated shop near you that has been in business for a while, has a good local rep, and works on Hondas. This is a Honda 2.0 engine that is on a lot of Accords. This stuff is simple, but you want the right oil and the right parts.

Everything is done by Maintenance Minder algorithms. On my Accord, when it hits 15% and the wrench shows up, I arrange for a change.
I have also begun to use a spreadsheet (a couple of cars ago) to track dates, mileage, and cost for everything done to the car. This helps me keep track of things the MM doesn’t really cover, or when I want to go off cycle.

I find that pictures are also a wonderful tool. as the exif data holds; date, time, place...and depending on what you choose to photograph during these services, ie; mileage, can really up your note taking game.
Is the oil filter located in a relatively easy place to access on that motor? I remember my '93 Accord being a pain. The oil filter was toward the top of the engine, against the side facing the firewall. Not a lot of fun to get to. And on my sisters Subaru Impreza, the oil filter was at the top, so oil would leak all over the alternator whenever you removed the filter. What a stupid design. The J-series has a great design. I don't even have to jack up my Pilot. Just turn the wheels to the right to access the filter with the oil pan bolt easily accessible due to the height of an SUV. The only reason I jack it up anyway is to get more oil out due to it draining better with the car tilted. Same applies to the TL except that it's a little more difficult to get to the oil pan bolt if the car isn't jacked up a bit. Possible, but not super easy.
I just turned 1500 miles on the ODO and at almost the same time flipped to 80% on the MM for oil life. I'm doing about 65/35 city/highway.
Just curious as to how is this stacking up with what others are seeing? FWIW that almost exactly what my '14 Cadillac would show for oil life.

I do mostly suburban driving, with about 20% highway.
