Hi Again - went through the owner's manual and search function on the forums, but could not find an answer.
Assuming this adjusts the amount of air the fan blows through, just want to confirm if anyone knows, and yes I did test it myself but couldn't tell the difference.
Yepp. You might not have been able to tell the difference if you've set the CC to "auto" but if you manually adjust the fan speed you should be able to tell.
If you're trying to get heat out of those vents, you won't. Heat comes out of the floor vents under the dash and the defroster vents on top of the dash shown above in your photo. Unless you manually select those vents on the HVAC.

Heat comes out of my vents and ac when those are selected as per the manual.

Yeah, like I said, you have to select them manually. They won't put out heat on auto.
