Driver Side Vent Question

Hi Again - went through the owner's manual and search function on the forums, but could not find an answer.

Assuming this adjusts the amount of air the fan blows through, just want to confirm if anyone knows, and yes I did test it myself but couldn't tell the difference.

Yepp. You might not have been able to tell the difference if you've set the CC to "auto" but if you manually adjust the fan speed you should be able to tell.

If you're trying to get heat out of those vents, you won't. Heat comes out of the floor vents under the dash and the defroster vents on top of the dash shown above in your photo. Unless you manually select those vents on the HVAC.

AC comes out of those vents though.

That wheel opens and closes the vent. That’s it. It can be wide open, partially open, or closed.

Yeah, like I said, you have to select them manually. They won't put out heat on auto.
