I really wanted to find a flaw in one of those photos just so I could say "missed a spot" but I don't think there's a single bit of dirt or lint on that car. Nice job!

I used to do that. Spend an entire Saturday washing, chamois-ing, clay barring, washing again, chamois-ing again, waxing, foaming, vacuuming, Rain-X all the windows, etc., etc., etc.

My back and my knees can't do it anymore. Now, I just go through a local car was, go home and take a nap.

My compliments to your efforts and results. 👍

...and - that's how we do that.

I use a 2 1/2 bucket method...one for soap, one for rinse and a small bucket just for my tires and rims which I wash first. Excellent!

How hard is it to wax/polish around that door chrome trim? Did u do wax by hand or with a machine? Also, is swirl remover necessary?

That car looks great.

I clean mine once a week. My wife thinks I'm nuts.

And I have a few things to clean it.

The pegboard is from Wall Control and it comes in lots of (custom) colors.

AND matches your PMC. Nice!

Sadly, I have given up doing my own details, as another poster has also mentioned. I used to love knowing every curve and feature of my cars.

I am quite sore and tired when I am done. Getting old sucks.

I don't work around the crome parts...just polish/was right over chrome just like the paint. Tough parts are around the black plastic and the honeycomb plastic...too many places to trap dirt

I use the Meguia'rs DA with 5 and 3 inch pads and also some by had in really tight areas..

I used Adam's ceramic spray on the grille. Does a nice job of keeping it clean and is easy to wipe down.

I love Adam’s, too. Great stuff! The new Graphene Detail Spray is amazing. I will probably never do a conventional wax job again.
