Create Playlist on USB

I know this should be obvious, but I cannot find out how to create a playlist (using USB Stick)

I have all my music on a USB stick. The music is in various folders (Artist Names). This works fine in the RDX and I can play the music (all, one folder at a time, Specific artist, etc..). But when I select the playlist option in the RDX, I get a blank screen. I'm trying to understand how to create the USB such that the RDX will see a playlist. Any advise/suggestions?

I could not find the answer in the manuals.

You need to create playlist files on the USB. There are programs that can do this, or you can just use a text editor like Notepad to create a file. It will need the extension .m3u. Copy it to your USB, then upload to the RDX. In your case, the file will look like this:

.\ArtistFolder\FileName1
.\ArtistFolder\FileName2

For example, I have my files in Artist - Album folders, and a DonaldFagen.m3u playlist file may look like this:

.\Steely Dan - Gaucho\04 Gaucho.flac
.\Steely Dan - Gaucho\05 Time out of Mind.flac
.\Donald Fagen - The Nightfly\05 New Frontier.flac
.\Donald Fagen - The Nightfly\06 The Nightfly.flac
.\Donald Fagen - The Nightfly\07 The Goodbye Look.flac

Playlist Creator 3.6.2 may work, save as .m3u format in the Playlist folder in USB

I recently trialed Playlist Creator 3.6.2. you can google it, free download I think. Nothing fancy but I like its simplicity.
https://playlist-creator.en.uptodown.com/windows

- save file as .m3u format
- save playlist file to USB drive under Playlist folder (create one if there isn't one)
- I also noticed when you insert previously used USB drive in your car, it may not detect new playlist file right away (at least new playlist did not appear initially for me, but appeared my 2nd car start)

In terms of creating playlist file using car interface, haven't tried. If others have better simpler method, I'm also open for ideas.

My issue is that the m3u playlists always seem to be played in alphabetical order of the song titles in the flac files. Is there any bloody way to get it to play in the order that the files are listed in the m3u file?
