On my last RDX (2016) the center console cover lasted about 3 years before it started coming apart in the area where I rested my elbow. I purchased a cloth like cover but looked and felt cheap. Any recommendation on any covers for it (2021 Advanced) or ways to protect it?

 

I would check Etsy. There seem to be some legit custom handmade options there (as opposed to people just hawking cheap Chinese stuff, which is a problem on Etsy). I’ve had great luck with Etsy to get niche items and most legit custom makers there are willing to work with you on materials and design.

I would also add that it might just make sense to wait and see how the armrest holds up, and either cover or replace it when it is actually worn out. It looks like (based on my quick research) that a replacement is $150 - not cheap, but not too bad if amortized over several years.
