Caring for XPEL PPF

Hi everyone,

I got the XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF on my front as well as the mirrors and I was looking at using a Ceramic Wax since the professional ceramic coating is pricey. Griot's has a 3-in-1 Ceramic spray on wax but the folks that installed the film are telling me not to use it because it has carnauba in it. The guy said it blocks the pores on the film. Does anyone have a suggestions on what I can use? They said they would do the professional coating and it would cost me ONLY $1300+tax which is a bit much.

Thanks in advance.

XPEL has XPEL Flawless Finish Paint Protection Film Sealant or XPEL Ceramic Boost that is suppose to help seal and increase the longevity of the PPF. I did the Ceramic Pro coating over XPEL Ultimate for my 18 RLX and hand wash with ceramic booster soaps. I have Suntek Ultra PPF+ CQuartz finest ceramic coating on my 19 MDX and do the same hand washing with the same products. I haven't tried the XPEL PPF sealant on my RLX yet because I just added PPF before the lockdown and only drive to recharge the battery for now. If you keep your car clean on the regular, you might have to do claybar once a year also if you have a lot of road muck/environmental gunk to deal with in your area.
