2019 RDX A-Spec

"Camera Settings GUIDELINES: Select which guidelines show in the camera monitor when you shift into Reverse. o Off o Fixed o Dynamic p Both"

When choosing "both", and putting the car in reverse, I only see one set of lines, or a rectangle, or whatever you would call it in the display. I rented a Ford Escort over last weekend and it had two sets of lines (or rectangles), one was fixed and one was 'dynamic'. Am I missing something, or should there be two sets of rectangles in the display when in reverse?

I get both sets of rectangles in reverse, so I would say double check that option was selected and applied by the system. If yes, and you still only see one set, then it sounds like a bug.

I also have same issue. I see only the orange moving rectangle. Not the fixed one. Tried selecting "both" and "dynamic" in camera settings. Mine is a awd tech.

On mine (Platinum Elite/Advanced), when both are chosen, the dynamic lines are orange and the fixed lines are yellow. When the steering wheel is straight (fixed), the lines are yellow, when the wheels are turned (dynamic), the lines are curved and the guidelines are orange in colour.

To add to my post above, when I chose FIXED, only the yellow static lines appeared. I didn't try the DYNAMIC only option, but I would assume that only the orange lines would appear and they wouldn't turn yellow when the wheels were straight (like they do when BOTH is chosen).

Mine also does the same. I was just playing around with the rear camera settings today and saw both yellow (fixed) and orange (dynamic) rectangles with "both" setting. Yellow showed up with steering straight and orange when I turned the steering. They both do not show up together with steering wheel turned, which I was expecting initially. But good to know that it is working as it is supposed to in RDX.

OK, got it. Thanks. I didn't see that in 'Both' mode the yellow fixed lines are there when wheels straight and switches to orange/curvy as soon as wheel is turned into a 'dynamic' mode. Looks like in 'dynamic' mode there is no rectangle at all when 'wheels straight' until you start turning the wheel, then the orange/curvy rectangle appears, and of course in 'Fixed mode' it is always a non-curvy yellow rectangle....and of course 'none' gets nothing' Ughhhh...so many options for backing up. The Foird rental threw me when it displayed a set of fixed lines and a dynamic set at the same time...but of course, that's a Ford and this isn't.
