Cabin Air Filter
Hello,
Does anyone have the OEM part number for the 2019-2021 RDX Aspec's Cabin Air Filter? Also, which filter are you all using? I ordered one off of Amazon, and it doesn't fit. If anyone has a link to one, that would be great.
Thanks much!

I did order an OEM one last night.

Are you referring to the air intake filter? This is for the cabin filter that requires you to pry on a plastic cover and then depress push-tabs to remove. No clips. The air intake is the one with the push-pin.

I also bought a Fram filter that Amazon said would fit over a year ago. I went to put it in this week and it’s too big. Can’t return it because the return window closed long ago. I ended up throwing it away and buying one from the dealer. The RDX filter is smaller than other Honda/Acura filters.
Next time, I’ll order one from Rock Auto.

Seems there's some confusion here between the engine air filter and the cabin air filter. Despite the title of the thread.
I picked up a cabin air filter at a dealer, went to my car to install it and it was too big. Parts guy probably thought I said "MDX". Went back inside to exchange it.

Interesting. Wonder why they are overcharging so much.
Edit: Checking online for the part number, you are right. Several sites list it for $17-$19. That's a huge markup by the dealer. Is that typical for all parts?

MSRP price for this filter is $23-24, thats what you would pay at parts department. However, you can get online from CurryAcura for $19. They lied to you.

Some people have fetish for OEM parts, I am one of those people 😆

OK, this is admittedly a dumb question, but last time I changed it I forgot to pay attention to the orientation of the old filter and had to make a guess as to which direction the air flowed. Does the fan push air up or pull it down?

Almost every cabin filter is designed to flow top to bottom, so the "airflow arrow" should point down. If it says "Airflow" or has nothing written on it, the arrow should be pointing down. There's supposedly some cabin filters that will use the arrow to show which side goes up, but they usually indicate that's what they're referencing with some sort of writing (ie: 'Up' or 'Top of Filter' or something along those lines).
