Our brake pedal produces a pretty loud clunk noise when released quickly. (This is the brake pedal, not the brakes.) Under most braking conditions it's quiet, but quick release = clunk. Sometimes, when some jerk behind me is following too closely I'll do a quick tap, tap, tap of the brakes, which = clunk, clunk, clunk. Anyone else notice this? I'll put this on the list for our first scheduled service.

 

Happens to me when taking my foot off the pedal quickly, the same as you. Never had any other car do this.

 

Our RDX was at the dealer service yesterday (replaced a bad battery) and I asked them to check out the brake pedal. It's a design flaw- nothing they can do. As my trusted Service Advisor said, "It's the way those clowns designed it."
