So I was driving home yesterday and noticed the brake pedal is clicking/tapping when u push on it half way through. The car brakes fine. I checked the pedal assembly and all and everything seems to be tight and she it should.

But u need to hit the brakes 60% when u get half way throught he pedal movement ur feel and hear a clicking. Like there is play somewhere.

I got a friend to push the brakes with the air on and u can feel it in the master cylinder/booster area.


Now the car does operate 100%

But now that I know there is something up int he brake pedal area it is raising concerns.

Anyone have any insight on this.. My bible did not have anything in it to help troubleshoot the issue.

 

Just drove a tl with way less mileage and it made no noises in the pedal stroke. So looks like my car is being a picky sob
