Well it’s been 2 years since we bought my 2019 RDX and my wife’s 2018 CRV, and they both just got the maintenance minder code 7 for brake fluid change, which leaves me to think it must be every 2 years, as my RDX has almost 2x the mileage. I really need the manuals off of Honda techline, I had a short subscription at one point and have a bunch of the PDFs for the Maint, but I forgot to download how to to a brake fluid replacements. I have done brake fluid replacements before, it’s not hard, but I wanna follow the manual to a T.

 

Brake fluid is a time thing because it can absorb water over time.

" If a Maintenance Minder Indicator does not appear more than 36 months after the display for item 7 is reset, change the brake fluid every 3 years."

 

or are you asking HOW TO PERFORM A BRAKE FLUID CHANGE?
Because it's just like any other car. nothing special.

might take a few tries to bleed the brakes, but once you figure out the order of the bleeding...then it will be easy.
Often times, it's ; LF, LR, RR, RF

 

If you have around 30k miles, it will come up before 3 years.
Brake fluid is one of the things I go to dealer.
