Anyone using Acuralink PERSONAL CONCIERGE? Your experience?

Has anyone in this forum actually used the AcuraLink PERSONAL CONCIERGE service and if so what was your experience? An example might be having a dinner reservation made while traveling, etc.

One of the reasons we leased the RDX was the concierge service. We ruled out Audi, in part, because the service was not available. We used the service a lot in our 2016 BMW X3 and started out using the service in our RDX but found most of the time the experience was frustrating. Our use was to get a destination loaded into the navigation system when voice recognition fails. For part of the calls we tried to make we would get a service not available message. Some of the operators had trouble finding the destination we wanted and some spoke with an accent so thick we had trouble understanding them. So, we let the service expire and have not really missed it. If you are in the trial period give it a try and see if they can make a reservation for you or find a place whose name you are not certain of and all while you are driving. We thought the BMW service was great and renewed for each year we had the X3. Not so much with the Accura version.

It’s for old rich people, which evidently Acura drivers aren’t

Never tried it once in the trial period. Why ask some stranger to look up stuff for me when I can do that myself, or have a passenger do it?

it is not about looking up stuff. It is a service whereby if I am driving in the car and need to make an unplanned dinner reservation, our hotel reservation, etc., I can use the service to have it booked without the need to pull over and do everything on my phone. Obviously a first world problem/service. :-)

We obviously travel differently. Whenever I have had to do that, my wife is with me and she does it. She looks iver the various alternatives, and we go from there.
