There is already a thread on this. Use the search feature and search for android auto.

Mine doesn't either. Buried somewhere in the original 1.2.1 update thread there's a way to get it to work. I just haven't had the time to look for it because I don't use Android Auto that much and I don't much care for Waze (I prefer Google Maps). But I do intend to get around to it one of these days.

I read in that thread something about enabling developer mode in the Google Play Store app. I also read somewhere, to get Waze to show up, you have to enable developer mode in the Android Auto app. I enabled both of those, as well as in the OS on my phone. I rebooted the phone but still no Waze in the car this morning. So, I don't really know what's up with that.

Many others here have gotten it working so maybe they'll chime in with something more helpful than "do a search".

FYI: Generally, the way you enable developer mode in an app on Android is to go in the the app's Settings and go down to the app version information. Tap repeatedly (usually from 6 to 10 times) and developer mode is enabled for the app or the OS.

That should get you running with Waze. Did for me, and may others.
It works well now, with the following exceptions:
You can't scroll around the map (you can zoom out, when not moving, but not scroll around.)
You can use voice to set a route, but not to cancel (you can set a new route though).
It does not use the touch pad as designed.. more like a mouse. And since there is no mouse pointer, figuring out where you are and how to get to a place on the screen is hard. Waze has said they are working on integration with touch pads... hopefully soon and for the RDX, since it's a bit tricky to move around without it. I assume that's why it's still a "developer mode" item? Just a guess.

Well if you feel butt hurt for having to do a simple search for a topic that has been discussed multiple times that’s not my problem. Multiple threads on the same subjects are clogging the boards.

RDXNY my response was not meant for you. Quoted the wrong person.

Got it. I forgot to do the last step. After enabling developer mode, I still had to go into the 3 dor menu and set the AA app to developer mode.

Still, my suction cup Garmin Nuvi works better than all 3 of these apps put together.
