All warning lights lit up on my 2019 RDX

Anyone else have this problem? All the warning lights from breaks, AWD, steering EVERYTHING! Having a tow take it to the dealership. I just had it serviced a couple months ago too.

perhaps the battery isnt holding 12.4 volts?
perhaps you've run into the same issue as the others when passing and in the rain, limp mode?

without further details and the car in front of me; all we can do is guess.

Not raining. Just turned it on in my garage. Didn’t have any issues before besides the occasional infotainment blacking out.

Does the car turn over? Usually a dashboard full of lights on a Honda product is related to a battery issue.

Fingers crossed they can figure out what's going on or put you in a loaner.

and if you have a multimeter, check the voltage of the battery

INTERESTING INFO.
from the tow guys. They said this is happening a lot to Honda and Acura 2019 and 2020. They were not surprised at all. Said possible electrical issue.

Don’t all the lights turn on when you first start the car? Is this just a matter of them not turning off?

I’ve had my main screen glitch once where it seemed to freeze on startup. I don’t remember if other lights were on. It resolved itself and hasn’t happened since.

I used to get this regularly on my TLX. The first time, it was quite alarming.
The dealer reset the codes the first time.
The second time, they replaced a wheel speed sensor.
The third time, they replaced the transmission control module and shift quadrant.
After that, it continued to happen when I accelerated on a freeway upgrade. The trans would downshift to 4th and stay there. I would just pull over when able, shut down, wait a few minutes, and restart..
When the new RDX came out, I traded it. It's someone else's problem now. Never had the problem with the RDX.

If it is battery related, you should get a low-battery-voltage warning first. Do nothing and eventually you get the Xmas lights.

Sounds to me there was no prior warning on the battery, so I gonna guess it is something else. Good luck, hopefully it is something simple. Share with us what the mechanic found.

Normally it IS the battery. What the mechanic found is not always accurate. Warranty pays very little to nothing for diagnostics. They pay parts and labor for replacement of parts. If you were a mechanic, you would find something to replace that is somewhat related to the problem for example in this case: a brake warning sensor or some other related part. This is why mechanics often have a cabinet of good parts next to their tool box. These are parts they replaced just to get paid and are still good. This is also why they don't fix the car right the first time.

i mean it's always great to have a multimeter....one could have found out real quickly if it was the battery or not.

Keep in mind that normal car batteries are 12.6 volts. If you have an AGM battery the voltage is higher like 12.8 to 12.9.

Every car I've ever owned had a "lamp test" circuit that lights all the indicator lights when you start the car. In the RDX, I doubt it's a separate parallel circuit that can physically short; it's probably just an ECU command.

Cool Voltage Analyzer

I have a 2021 RDX with Tech & Adv Pkgs. Having worked for IBM for 30 years I learned about power and voltages. With that in mind I went to Amazon and ordered a device for my RDX and my TTS that plug into Cig lighter port. In 2 different colors it monitors both the interior temp in tenths of a degree, also measured Batt voltage constantly to within tenth of a degree. A great device for issues like this. Also wondering if you're stopped and in ACC mode, are you putting you foot on the brake pedal while sitting there? Wondering if you are lighting up brake lights for period of time bringing battery down? A possibility? Also disappointed as my brake pedal rattles and knocks back and forth when applying

Right now the only issue I'm having is trying to update Navi. New program load to USB drive takes 3.5 hrs on new Hi-Po Lenovo desktop and have 40gps internet. Something is not right and have tried , this is my 3 rd time and can't get it to load into info system. Instructions are abysmal, and with no way to know what mode to be in (ACC) or run, if i have to load it in acc mode for 2 hrs, I'm begging for batt issues, or letting it run for 2 hours???? Terrible design, and I can't find what the car should be in for 2 hrs while trying to load pgm into Navi. Unbelievable!
One other thing in regards to software development for Adv, Cruise Control (ACC). there is an app setting for setting the space distance between you and the car in front of you. It uses a dial and it changes the setting in one direction without circling around to change the setting. Wha'st bad about it is if you change the setting while moving and it only works in one direction, the only way you can change it is to lessen the following distancer, which causes the car to ride right up to the ass of the car in front of you. Wouldn't 'you think that it would change in the direction of iallowing MORE room between you and the car in front of you and not less? STUPID! Also algorithm has the car constantly either accelerating fairly aggressively, or braking aggressively. There is no passive pause or coast between the two of those, probably planned that way, as if you use that ACC much, you'll get about 1/2 the miles out of the brakes (good for dealer with $700 brake job), or on the other hand it's wasting gas by fairly aggressive acceleration. Stuck between a rock and a hard spot! There are definitely holes in the technology. My wife won't use the ACC, too bad ic CAN be a good thing if you roll that switch the opposite the other direction 2stops before running up the ass of the car in front of you!

Not familiar with this system but will share my experience updating an infiniti product. G37 with a new version of infotainment firmware. Came on one DVD (~4GB in size), loaded through the car's cd/dvd player. Car was in the on position but engine turned off. To keep the battery from dying, night before I had it on a 3 amp battery tender. Left the battery tender connected during the update process. Took about 25 minutes.

I wish there was a button to permanently turn off all of this garbage permanently. Ktuner?
