2021 RDX Front Grill Replacement
Anybody done a front grill replacement or know where I can find a manual detailing this procedure? One of the thin vertical fins broke on mine and I was thinking of replacing it. Dealer wants $306 CAD for the grill, and about $700 to replace it. Was wondering if its something I could do myself , with out removing the bumper.
Thanks for any help!
Picture of grill pre break. You can't see the thin vertical fin here, so maybe I could live with it over time?

Front bumper needs to be taken off to attach a new grill.
a body shop can do it cheaper than the dealership if you bring the part to them.

Can you post a photo of the damage? Can you live with it? If you do not fix it, how much it will it hurt your resale value? To a degree, that depends on how long you intend to keep your RDX. If it costs $1,000 to have it replaced, is it worth an insurance claim to you?

Still would like to see a procedure to the grill replacement, or even where ti get a good service manual for the RDX.

I suppose from first looks it hard to notice, however I know, and that bothers me most..... I do have insurance with a deductible, however I don't want my rates to increase, or my license to with a claim. I could try to bridge it with something as I don't have the broken piece, otherwise I would try to glue it in place.

Here's a shot from yesterday, you really can't tell and even have to really look for it. However I'm sure there will be days when it sticks out like a sore thumb

I would:
A) file the ends smooth.
B) Then take some measurements of the cross section and the length.
C) Find someone with a 3D printer and have them print out the piece in ABS plastic.
D) Sand it smooth and paint to match.
E) Test for proper fitment and then glue it in place.
Alternative to the above would be to do steps A and D.

Indeed, its good stuff!
This was what I originally found before I posted. It covers the area, however it removes the grill with the bumper, with the object being installing Fog lights. What I would like to find is the same instructions for just the grill. Or more so, how does a person get access to the entire service manual manual to generate this PDF instruction. Its cool!
