I’d be leasing Tech for 48 months and I’m currently leasing Honda (Cross brand loyalty). What promotions can apply to me? To they stack? What would be my final leasing rate?
thanks!
Yea I'm curious what Canadian 2019 promotions you guys are seeing?
I'm being told $7500 off MSRP on a 2019 A Spec for financing but their financing rates are 5.5% for 4 or 5 years. Was also told that Acura has taken away their 2019 leasing and financing programs so they can't even lease me a new 2019 RDX and the financing is done through a bank (which is why the rate is so high).
Now that $7500 off includes the $4k acura credit and they've hidden some fee's back in there but it works out to 1% over invoice cost when its all said and done.

In BC, demos with that kind of mileage are listing for about $48K before taxes so yeah that's quite high. After taxes, I paid $50K for my A-Spec with 3,600km which was used as a courtesy car - it was in mint condition out of Victoria where the weather is way better than in Montreal. I'd expect to pay $47-48K after taxes on the model you described.
I purchased a 2020 RDX ASpec yesterday in Alberta for about 3.0% over Car Cost Canada's invoice price. Not including the Acura Canada $1k rebate that's on right now.
So about $1500 in dealer profit. They claimed they only made $700 or something on the sale (I dont believe them). But for a new 2020 I figured I did alright. Also got 0.99% financing on a 4 year finance due to Acura's 2% loyalty discount on interest rates.
Pick the car up next week, can't wait!

It's getting ridiculous. I am visiting dealers and they aren't negotiating a penny. Financing is super expensive as well.
I know Acura RDX is a huge hit and selling like hotcakes but dealers are asking advantage of the situation big time. I am not impressed tbh.
I was very insulted when the dealer tells me, it's what it's. This is our final price. : https://www.autohebdo.net/a/acura/rd...200B6&sprx=100
I was trying to get this A-SPEC. The dealer was willing to give me winter tires only as an extra. That's all. C'mon, this car has 12,000 KM on it and $55K. My dealer where I always go, the rep told me to wait until next year. He was very honest and told me I won't be able to get a good deal on the RDX until next summer. He was recommending me to go with an MDX.

My rep told me the market for RDX is very hot here in Quebec. I guess the AWD and snow go well together lol
If you know the car that you want and get the invoice price from Unhaggle or Car Cost Canada you can pretty much email the dealer and say something like, "I've test driven the car and am ready to buy and this is the price I'm willing to pay." No need to "shop around" so to speak.
That's not bad at all. Did the dealer push for the Customer Care Plan and wheel locks? may have saved you a bit more
I've been working to get a 2020 Aspec Blue Pearl with a few dealers here in Ontario. I've been getting quotes of 55k all in (w/ tax and rebates) cash purchase. Do you think I can do better? Does anyone know if the October promo's will be any better than whats on now ($1k CID and $1k cash purchase). Thanks.

the Fall promos have to be coming in soon (?) if only they would budge a little on the financing, say 1.99%. Hate to layout cash. Side note...how popular is the RDX anyway? I don't see that many on the road (in the GTA)
BMW X3's are selling like hotcakes yet BMW financing is way better than Acuras. Something else must be in play

It's ~50% of Acura's total sales in Canada YTD, the 3rd best selling luxury SUV in the country after the Q5 and GLC, and the 4th best selling luxury vehicle in Canada (Model 3 is #1). So the simple answer is that Acura doesn't need to throw many incentives on them to move them and if the way they promoted the 2019s are any indications there will be nothing special they're going to do with financing or rebates beyond what's already there ($1,000 for cash purchase). If you're in the market and like the RDX, just buy it as you won't really save any money by waiting.
I found an A SPEC with 11,000 KM for $55K and the dealer did not give me any discount and I left. What does that tell you?
Here is the proof: https://www.autotrader.ca/a/acura/rd...200B6&sprx=100
Dealers bluff but they hold you back but when they tell you good luck. That's not a blow. Supply and Demand!

There is $1k Acura Canada rebate for August for 2020 RDX's. There is also 2% interest rate discounts for existing Acura customers for August. As I noted above our 2020 A Spec was purchased in Alberta at about 3% above invoice and it included 0.99% (after the 2% rate reduction) financing over a 4 year term.
Apparently it was a $2k Acura rebate in July but I wasn't able to confirm.

4th best selling luxury car in Canada and about 50% of Acura's volume. Pricing is Quebec does sound nuts though - everyone should be able to get 3% above invoice (or better) right now. 3% above invoice is a good price for a luxury car that's selling well.
I tried to get a 2019, but I was too late to thje process, and the deals close me didn't have any left. In retrospect, I should have looked in May/June and picked up a 2019 (it was ~$500 lower MSRP, and there was a equal/better rebate). Oh well.
Hoping to complete my transaction for my 2020 Aspec before this weekend. Trying to get the dealer to add in the cargo mat and OEM mats for a decent price. I'm aiming for 20% off MSRP on those.

Just an update for other folks looking to purchase in the next little bit. I finalized by Aspec blue for $55k (cash) all in. I'm based in Ontario. Not a huge savings, but I pushed to get the OEM cargo mat (fold-able) included. I thought I'd want the OEM floor mats, but decided to go with MAXLINER mats instead (from Amazon.ca). I'm happy with the purchase/price. I wish I could have pushed for another $500 or so, but thats ok.
I also declined the $999 electronic rust proofing device and the extended warranty (7r/130k for $2,598). I guess I can add it before I officially pick i up. Thoughts on the rust module and warranty?

Me too - lol - the sales person tried to make a case that the cars are not built with the same level of protection as in the past, and you really need it. I'm of the opposite mind set - I've seen manufacturing improve, and most cars avoid rust (other than the mazdas of early/mid 2000's)
Sorry I didn’t mean that. I always go to dealers for purchasing reasons. I was wondering the price that you’re paying is good? It seems good to me for a lease. What’s the market price vs yours?
