2019 RDX Digital Center Display
2019 RDX Digital Center Display
I have a few gripes about what is presented in the digital display of the 2019 RDX. My last car was a 2008 TSX and I very much enjoyed the elapsed time of ride and also the trip resetting every time I filled my tank with gas. So here are my questions
- Are the elapsed time and trip reset stats available?
- If not, could a future update add those two data points?
- Could they possibly also add a digital speedometer? I was confused as to why such a new vehicle with so many tech features omitted a common feature in most new cars.
Thanks in advance all.

You can reset the trip stats by holding the dial. You can also configure how it resets in settings -> vehicle -> meter setup -> trip reset timing.
Just because you want a digital speedometer doesn't mean that everyone wants it. Many people who have it complain about it being too distracting. Not everyone can win and personally, I don't want it.

I think a digital speedo would be distracting. The set speed for the cruise control is digital, the speed limit sign is digital, adding a digital speedo would put three speeds in the cluster.
Matbe im misunderstanding what is mentioned above, but is there a mode that tracks overall miles and can be reset that includes time as well? My 05 had 3 modes, 2 trip meters and a third which included MPG, MPH and overall miles as well as lenth of time. I used this mode to track when I needed to change my oil, as the regular trip meters reset after 1000 miles.

I know I’m late to the thread. In some ways the digital speedo could be distracting but it is convenient at times when you just want to quickly glance down, especially on the A-SPEC with the silver gauges.
But, if you go into settings and select vehicle, then go into the driver safety systems and click the lane keeping one I believe(the first one), if you look closely at the picture shown, you can see a little digital speedo above the trip computer in the gauge cluster. Maybe this hints at Acura sending out an update to give us a digital speedo in the future.

I know. Totally agree. Especially since the Hondas have had it for years since the 2007 Honda Civic. If someone finds it too distracting, then simply just change the display mode. 🙄 Nonetheless, everything about my rdx i love.
