Few Mods to 2015 MDX

Hey everyone. I got a 2015 Acura MDX and I decided to do a few mods to it. I added BC Racing BR Coilovers and have 22x9 Vossen CVTs gloss graphite wrapped around with 265/40 Falken Ziex. So far loving the ride and no issues at all. Also did a custom audio system. Went with two JL Audio 13TW5 and two XD600/1 amplifiers. Custom Fiberglass box and Custom Plexi Panels for the Amps. Great sound and bass. Just a simple clean system which is what I was going for. Next step would be having all the chrome blacked out. Thinking of a Satin black vinyl wrap. Leave a comment and let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

Posting from a phone and it won't let me post multiple pics. Here is another one from a different angle.

Love it. Been waiting years for someone to seriously lower an MDX with aftermarket wheels.

There's been a lot of discussion on the boards over the years about no support for lowering kits. How did you come about the BC Racing BR Coilovers?

Vossen actually showed a model with VFS2s lowered on the BC Racing Coilovers a little while back. https://www.vossenwheels.com/gallery...s.aspx?id=1183

I forgot where we found out it was the BC Racing coilovers but then again, BC Racing practically makes something for every model these days lol

I love the look! I wish Acura would offer the option for sporty version of the MDX (larger front/rear stabilizer bars, sport+ IDS, few extra HP, suspension upgrade, wheel upgrade, dual exhaust, more aggressive sh-awd with more rear bais). I prefer something less "soccer mom" and more "mid-life crisis" if I had a choice.

Just did some research and these were the best ones out.

Didn't effect the IDS at all. I still use all three and have had no issues with it thus far. Driven it for 1500 miles so far.

Each and every1 has their own taste. No need to blackout the chrome.

Gorgeous , best mdx on this site
I liked it with chrome

So if you used bc, and mdx shares parts with oddy and pilot, means both those could be lowered similarly, no?

Very nice looking car. Will look even better with front windows tinted to match the rear. IMHO

Fronts are tinted, but out here in Northern California, cops are all over giving fix it tickets to dark tint. So just did a lighter version but it's perfect to keeping the car cooler.

Looking good...I'd appreciate a clean shot of the rear (straight on) when possible. Curious what the wrap looks like over the chrome between the lights. Thx.

Great looking MDX! I was very disappointed that Acura didn't offer a viable 20" factory option. They're on the plan for spring. I'm putting winter tires on the factory wheels this winter, so I'll buy a summer set of tires and wheels next spring. I already have 2 lowered cars and this is the wife's, so I'll probably leave it stock height.

I too, have wondered how the MDX would look with a few tasteful mods. In my mind's eye it would look great. Nice job confirming that!

get a letter from your doctor so you won't get hassled about your tint! Something about a skin condition and excessive light...

IDS in the MDX has no relation to the suspension. its just simply alters the amount of power it sends to the steering wheel.
