Awesome! I am inspired. I pimped my 2010 TL SHAWD after seeing pics on this sight.Getting older and I need the option to tow a trailer. Looking for refined but aggressive!

Hi, how low did you drop it? Have you had any issues with clearances?

How's the ride with the 22's? Are the coilovers adjustable for rebound?

Am in the proces of putting on BC coilovers on my '14 MDX.
I am however unable to make the rears adjustable from inside the car, I cannot find out how to remove the rear (in)side panels, but from what I could see, where the top of the strut is mounted, there is a reinforcement beam on the inside. Cannot figure out how to get through with BC-s optional flexible adjustment extensioners.

So for now I have just randomly set the dampening 15 clicks from full hard ((the factory setting of 8 clicks from full hard seemed a bit too much for my taste)
It feels reasonably good. Problem is that if I want to make any more adjustments to test out, I will need to remove the rear shocks to get to the tops to change the setting....
May I ask how you made the rear adjustability function, how do I get through to the interior?
How many clicks have you set the rear and front shocks?
Many thanks for any info that you can share.

Back in the day, we used to use these: https://www.tein.com/products/edfcII.html

Might be compatible (maybe not since these are for tein setups but iirc, lots of these adjustment heads were actually the same, so might be ). Premium cars just don't really give access to the hats, so one of these might be the only good way to do it without having to take it all apart until you get to what you like. Bc does sell extenders though but you have to make holes.

I have the BC extenders, but cannot fugure out how to get through from the shocks to the interior.
I did get the interior side panel loose on the top and peeking down inbetween, it seems there is a reinforcement strut just where the top of the strut is, so that may possibly mean drilling through several layers of sheet metal. but not sure, will need to get the sidepanel off and I cannot find out how to remove the interior side panel to get a clear view.
It looks like the 3rd row seat and the cargofloor side have to be removed first before the sidepanel can be removed, but don't want to break anything forcing things..
Anywhere a tutorial how to remove G3 MDX interior panels?

Ooh yeah I totally missed the part where you said you got the BC extenders already. Hopefully pgeorg has the exact info you need, as the parts diagrams I looked at pretty much told me that it would need to go through the rear shock cap, the insulation, and then probably through the rear plastics unless that small access door by the base of the panel under the cup holder area gave clear access to it. The alt was to also just remove the rear cup holders portion to see if there was access.

Is there a reason the info had to be given in PM and couldn't be shared with the greater forum?

The only reason is that the information was a whole lot of pages, and it was just easier to email them to G3RS. The PM was used so G3RS could provide me with an email address.

Hope this clears it up......

It would be nice if it was posted for the forum to view so the “next guy” can get answers, too. If you need help posting hem, send the info to me and I’ll post it.

with several years and miles under your belt, how would you characterize your experience with the BC coilovers? I am getting into my mdx more and love the SH AWD system but feels the suspension set up unable to cope with the capabilities.
