2014 Acura MDX Fog Lights
I Have been waiting for Fog Lights since June (It was Part of my deal when I purchased the Car)
and my dealership said that they don't have a release day yet. The Funny thing is that there are number of sites that already sell them on line.
I would of Purchased these already but since I have already paid for my I have to Wait
Don't Understand why dealerships don't have them Yet

You have to take off the entire bumper. Also you will need to take apart the steering column to remove and replace the existing light switch stalk to the one that has the Fog light switch as well

BAD news about the fogs!
Will NOT be available until end of August now , not July 31st anymore as was previously estimated !
Is complicated to install , will need to remove the bumper to do it! Pay the dealer , it's better.

Here are the Accessories that I have on my 2014 MDX Advance White I did the Installations my self:
- Sport Bumper Trim - Front (I had to remove from Bumper)
- Trailer hitch with Harness
- Rear Bumper Protector
- Crossbars
- All 4 splash Guards
- Cargo Tray - Living Hinge
- All Season Floor Mats
-Running Boards - Sport Step
I Purchased all of these Accessories at 25% below MSRP and by installing them My self.
Installation is Very Simple and It saves you ton on Money

The Installation instructions are very up from and Simple for DO IT YOURSELF.
So if you look at the installation of Fog lights they are simple
and to remove the Bumper is no big deal.
The Best Part is that you don't have to cut into any wires. Just Plug it in.

They do look better than the "blanks" that are in the area otherwise. My dealer informed me they only received two sets if fog lights and they were already "owed" to other people but that they hope to receive more soon.

You could probably buy one of those clear lens protectors. They are like clear bras but thicker.
Tap on the lens and see if it is glass or plastic.

I was going to install the fog light myself until the I read the 17 pages of instructions. I called my dealer and got an installed price of $438 for the LED Fogs. What is everybody else paying for the fogs installed?

Anyone crawl around under the front bumper to see if the filler panels can be removed without removing the bumper? It seems a lot of the hardware to be removed per the instructions may be optional equipment. If this can be done from underneath, the install will be much easier.

I agree that the MDX looks better with something in that space but useless, expensive LED fog lights are superfluous with Jeweleyes.

The main purpose of foglights is to throw light beam under the low-lying fog, and, as a result, able to illuminate the road and markings right in front and the sides of the car.
The headlights are sitting too far up the car, and thus any light beam (no matter how strong and bright) will simply get reflected and bounced back by the layer of fog.
