Wiper Sensor

HI All, Have a 2020 MDX Hybrid that just got the windshield replaced due to a rock chip that quickly developed into a huged crack.
Safelite replaced it with OEM but the auto setting for intermittent wipers aren't working.
Is it possible that they may have screwed the rain sensor?

I believe some calibration is necessary when you replace the windshield. Maybe that calibration was missed, or they may have done something to harm the sensor.

When I had my windshield glass replaced, the glass shop did the replacement, and the Acura dealership did the calibration for all affected sensors.

Safelite replaced it and received a certificate for LKAS calibration. Looks like I need to visit the dealer for the rain/light sensor to be serviced.

There is a silicon pad (p/n 38972-T0A-003) that is attached to the inside of the windshield between the windshield and the rain sensor. Maybe Safelite did not put the silicon sheet back in place.

They put it back but it seems off. I just made an appointment with the dealer.
