There are some features that I would like to add to the US models. Like surround view, folding mirrors, etc... If I purchase the ADV and ENT MDX it should be similar to the Canadian Elite MDX. But it is not? Why?

 

It was asked before but there's no answer. One of the reasons is that Canadians seem to pay more even though after the exchange rate.

 

Profit margin per car is a lot higher in Canada than in the US. Acura gets paid well for these added features. Canada is also a smaller market. Americans don't care for fancy features and won't pay much for them.

 

Canadian models are more expensive, and that being so, they add additional features to help compensate for the fact Canadians have to pay more.

 

I would purchase the elite in a heart beat.
