When to expect the 2017 price drop?

Shopping the 2017 CPOs and there is a good amount price difference between the 2016 MDX Base (27k+) vs. 2017 MDX Base (32k+), about 5k. When can I expect the 2017's to drop? After Nov/Dec sales numbers?

$1100/year? 5k price difference between 2016 / 2017. I'd say around $14/day.

The price difference could be because of the updated styling and AcuraWatch being standard after the 17 model year. I really like Apple CarPlay that became standard on the +18 MDXs. Don't know if you can get CarPlay with the 18 MDX base or add Apple CarPlay with NavTool? The only difference between a CPO and non-CPO is the CPO MDX goes through a +100 point inspection and them make sure brakes pads are good, tires are good, and fluid/filter maint is up to date. They then add an AcuraCare warranty for 1-2 extra years and 12,000 or so extra miles. You end up paying for the extra service and warranty in the price compared to a non-CPO.

I purchased my non-CPO 11 MDX Adv+Ent used with 30,000 miles back in 2014. The factory 4yr/50,000 mile basic bumper-to-bumper warranty was still good and I used it several times with zero issues before 50,000 miles limit was up. I wouldn't limit myself to CPO only if you find the right MDX at a non Acura dealership.
