I have a 2019 MDX Advance SH-AWD. Sometimes when I park and switch off the car, as soon as I open the door and get out of the car I hear what I describe as "Transformers" sounds from the back-end/wheels of the car...anyone know what this is about? I feel like it's the car automatically engaging the parking brake. However, I've never had to disengage it and I haven't parked on an incline when I hear it.

Parking brake.
To test the theory, hold you foot on the brake pedal, shut off the car, open the door and listen. If its the parking brake you should feel the brake pedal harden just a bit.
