Touch screen scratches

So I was cleaning my touch screen on my MDX and I noticed there were 2 scratches on the screen. Does anyone know how can I get rid of them?

I ordered touch screen protector for my 06 TSX and it still there and looks good as new +8 years later. Amazon has "Lexerd - 2014 Acura RLx MDX touch screen audio TrueVue Anti-glare Navigation Screen Protector" for $20+shipping. It won't fix the scratch; but, it might cover it up where you won't notice and provide future protection against damage.

nice find. does it dim the screen brightness at all? does it really reduce glare?

Don't buy a car with a touch screen. Because the screen is on the interior, safety concerns govern the materials used so the screen is plastic. The only way it will not get scratched is if it is glass but it will still get fingerprints and smudges all over it.

The touch screen on my TSX looks, feels, and works just like a screen protector like on a smartphone or ipad. You can see the screen if the unit is off (especially if you have air bubbles or lint stuck underneath). The screen disappears almost 100% when the screen is on with no change in brightness or sharpness. I've used Windex/paper towel or a wet chamois cloth to clean prints. All the touchscreen buttons respond the same way and the screen I has slight opacity to reduce glare.

I don't know about the Amazon screen compared to my eBay screen I purchased +8 year ago. The lack of reviews makes it hard to spend $20 on something untested.

Really? Did you mean to post that on a blog that consists primarily of owners of 3rd gen MDX with a touch screen? The touch screen certainly has it's downsides but I can't understand someone making a car purchase decision based on potential scratches. To each his own, I guess.

Well, I guess I can try it and see how it goes. I couldn't stand having the protectors on my cellphone and after a while, just took it off with no issues. I had the iPhones and the screen on them (and other cell phone now a days) are pretty touch and scratch resistant. However the plastic on the touch screen on the car is something that can definitely scratch and will probably be pretty expensive to replace and annoying to have. I'll get it and let you guys know. Tx

Yes, I did mean to post it. This forum is also read by potential buyers and they would appreciate knowing that the Gen 3 comes with a touch screen and I, for one, would never buy a car with a touch screen, not because of the scratches as much as using a touch screen while driving with your arm out stretched going over bumps is a terrible concept made even worse by the poor software.
I agree with you, "to each his own" but the array of buttons on the gen 2 gives direct unambiguous control and I don't find the array as intimidating as some have complained about.

I saw someone like the Nushield screen protector for $18 better than the Lexerd on Amazon on another MDX forum.
http://www.nushield.com/order_now.php

Shipping for Nushield was only $3.10 to ABQ, NM, USPS.

I read this thread earlier and purchased the Lexard screen protector from Amazon I highly recommend it for peace of mind.
When the screen is on the screen protector disappears.
