System P2422 error code

System P2422 error code
The other day our 2014 MDX displayed P2422, which from reading looks to be "Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Vent Shut Valve Stuck Closed Malfunction". I've been googling, but all results are for other Acura models. I assume the issue is the same idea, but wanted to ask in the specific sub.
As a little background, I just got a bunch of work done last week, timing belt service, valve adjustment and plugs, most fluids. We went on a road trip to my in-laws and we've done a lot of gravel road driving, probably 500-1000 km in the past week.
I'm still at my in-laws, is there something relatively easy to look for to try to fix it? Could I cause any further issues waiting till we get home to have it looked at, which would be roughly 1000 kms?
