Some Light Offroading in the MDX

Hi All,

Well today I decided to go on a little adventure and see how the MDX handled some minor off roading. I will say that the MDX did great but this was nothing hard core. Most of the time it was simply a dirt road but there were some large ruts and bumps along the way. There were definitely times where I jumped out to make sure I wasn't going to scrape the bottom (thankfully never did). At one point I actually got the front wheel off the ground which was a new experience to be sure! Overall I was very pleased. The MDX really could use an inch more ground clearance but as I doubt many owners will take the MDX off road it won't be necessary for many. Anyways, the MDX earned its nice layer of dirt today. Now its time to go and give it a bath. Heres some pictures of the adventure!

Have a good night all!

Looks like you had some fun.

Looking at your signature block it seem like you upgrade fairly quickly!?!?

NBP04TL4ME/kareshi - Yeah it was pretty fun drive. Wasn't sure at times if the MDX would have the ground clearance to make it but had no problems the whole way. It was fun to see that while the MDX is pretty much made for the road it could handle a little bit of tougher terrain.

As far as upgrading goes, I'm on the extreme side of a car freak. I love them and being single I have the means to upgrade when I want which has gotten more frequently as of late (its a very expensive hobby). The '13 MDX I purchased because from my initial impressions of the '14 MDX, I wasn't that impressed and I got an insane deal. Always wanted an MDX so the TL was out the door. Then the dealer gave me a '14 for a loaner and I was sold. Put my '13 online to see if I would get an hits and sold it in less than a week. Only lost a few grand on the '13 with the deal I got. The '14 will be with me for a while. With all the cars I've owned, this is by far my favorite.

Anyways, cleaned up the MDX. Have a good night all!

Nice color combo, I'm getting mine delivered tomorrow...
Upgraded from a 2014 MDX Tech FWD to a more recent built 2014 MDX Advanced SH-AWD with ver 2 of NAV. It's for the wify, I drive the 6MT TL...or a 370Z sport sometimes...
Enjoy the MDX it drives much nicer than the previous models...they are lighter...
