Servicing 60% on display

I'm trying to figure out if it is time to service a 2017 MDK. I got it used from a dealership. The display of the engine info says 60% but when I check the engine oil with the dipstick it looks much lower than that. Picture attached.

Oil consumption for the 3rd Gen MDX isn't an issue compared to the previous 10-13 MDX with the 3.7L engine. The 14-20 3.5L engine takes 5.7qts for full. Good chance the dealership just put in 5 qts and called it a day? I would still double-check the oil level at 50%,40%, 30%, and 20% marks to see if you do have an oil consumption issue. I wouldn't worry about it if you have no change in oil level when you hit the 15% M.I.D. oil change notification.

the 60% is likely the remaining oil "life" before a change is due, AFAIK the MDX does not monitor actual oil level. If it goes below a certain level to a low oil level it may give you a warning. Read the manual, lots of info on the display info. BTW as long as the oil level is between the hash marks oil level is ok. your maybe 1/2 qt low, between the has marks is 1 qt difference. Also the oil level with vary depending on when you check it. after shutoff will likely read lower than after sitting several hours, car not level will also affect it.
