Persistent error messages on 2017 MDX
Hi all, just purchased a certified used 2017 and love it, but after a week it started throwing these error messages. Took it to the dealer and he immediately noticed that my EZPass (for paying highway tolls) was interfering with the camera. I removed the EZPass and problem solved. Then a week or so later the problem came back. Took it back to the dealer and of course the problem had stopped by then (though was persistent for several days) so they couldn’t replicate the error. They updated the software on the transmission and problem solved again. Then, another week later and the same issue popped up again. Taking it back on Monday but they don’t seem to have any idea what is happening. Has anyone seen this before? Error messages below and pics attached:
Road departure mitigation system problem
Adaptive cruise control problem
Lane keeping assist problem

Personally coming from old school I would be looking at the front sensor behind the A on the grill. That sensor covers a lot of this things. Also, please look closely and be sure the windshiend is a genuine Acura part. If someone replaced it with an aftermarket that can create all aorts of problems for the front camera.

Probably not related; but, I had a similar errors on my 18 RLX when I had to use my donut spare on the passenger front tire. I was waiting for 4 days on a replacement tire from a non-repairable flat from a pot hole. It popped up twice in the 10 times I drove the car in four days and always cleared when I started the car the next time. Never came back with the replacement tire.
The error could be Acurawatch version of "limp mode" if you have a bad sensor somewhere.

Thanks for the suggestions on what it might be. It is not an aftermarket windshield. The dealer replaced the battery and it seemed like it was fixed, but then the errors started popping up again. Sigh...

Same
I had the same errors in my 17 certified MDX.
Dealer thought it was a battery issue so they replaced the batter but it turned out to be a faulty sensor. So I drove out with a new battery and the new sensor which fixed the issue.
All covered by the dealer.
Good luck!
